Gaming Smartphone from Xiaomi???

Xiaomi is reportedly launching a new gaming-centric smartphone on 13 April. According to a latest Weibo post, Black Shark, the subsidiary smartphone brand of Xiaomi is all set to launch its first gaming smartphone on April 13th. In February and March of 2018, there were many leaks and rumours about the Xiaomi Black Shark The latest teaser image officially confirms the launch date of the new device. However, the company has not used the word Xiaomi anywhere on its teaser image. Xiaomi BlackShark is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, which also powers the recently launched the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s. Xiaomi might bring Mi A1 Project Treble support with the Android 8.1 Oreo update.Despite being part of Android One program, Xiaomi’s Mi A1 has been riddled with a number of update issues. It had a pretty difficult start with Android Oreo 8.0 update which was suspended a number of times due to bugs, and the company is yet to bring Android 8.1 Oreo to the smartphone. Now it seems Xiaomi is planning to roll out Android 8.1 Oreo update to Mi A1 users soon. And surprisingly it may also bring Project Treble support to the Mi A1. An XDA developers senior member who goes by the name infinity_guy wrote on the forum: “Treble is confirmed. I didn’t get many details as to how it’s going to be implemented, but it is sure to come.” He added that his source, however, couldn’t provide more information because he’s under Non-disclosure Agreement with Xiaomi.
